How Far Do You Drive From a Cyclist?

A new law was introduced earlier this year to protect cyclists on the road in Britain.

The rule dictates that drivers must leave a minimum distance away from a cyclist when overtaking or travelling alongside a bicycle or they could face a punishment.

UK drivers could be penalised with a £100 fine and three penalty points if caught travelling to close to a bicycle.

Driving With Dogs

How to keep your dog properly restrained in the car

The first rule of doggie car travel is to restrain them properly. The RSPCA recommends a dog guard, a crate, or a harness that you clip onto the seatbelt or into the seatbelt buckle.

Make sure that your dog can’t move about too much and distract you, get flung about by the car’s movement, and of course, isn’t going to be thrown loosely if you have an accident.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

With temperatures already expected to soar up to 30 degrees across areas of the country this weekend.

As a result, drivers are being urged to stay hydrated while on the road as failing to do so could have some dangerous consequences.

Dehydration symptoms include slower reaction times, loss of focus and muscle cramps, which could negatively impact how they drive.
