TEENAGER HELD BY POLICE AFTER A CHILDS DEATH AT CARAVAN SITE

Police have been given an extra 12 hours to detain a 16 year old boy held for questioning after a seven year old boy was knocked down and died.

The 16 year old was allegedly driving the BMW around a caravan site in Cardiff, south Wales, when he knocked down the child who later died from his injuries in hospital. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police are asking parents of other children at the caravan site to come forward, as young children at the site may be key witnesses to what happened.
