I did 6hr lessons with Oscar in for two days, and I have passed my test on 09/10/2025 after 5 attempts. Oscar was very supportive and helpful. He took me through all the important maneuvers that i needed to know, and they turned out to be very help ful because they were the same maneuvers that i was asked to do.

James was a friendly and engaging teacher who had a nice manner.
He made both my girls feel comfortable and relaxed (as possible) and made the whole experience bearable for them.

After driving lessons on and off for years and finally taking my first failed test last year, I started lessons with Johnnie.

As someone with anxiety and spatial awareness problems, driving can be both stressful and tricky! Johnnie was patient, helpful, and ultimately got me to pass my second test (with only 3 minors!)

He was clear about what needed to change and improve without making me feel stupid or stressed (which I have sadly experienced with other instructors).

Would definitely recommend!

Great driving school. Jon is an exceptional instructor always going above and beyond to help you. Car was always clean and instructor always in time. Jon Made sure i was completely ready for my test.

Oscar is a brilliant driving instructor. His calm manner was very helpful in ironing out some of my early errors. He knows the right time to raise an issue and how to address it. His knowledge of the area was very helpful for the test. All of which helped me to pass first time with just one minor. More importantly though, he genuinely cared about my progress and ultimate success. A nice human being

George never made me feel embarrassed or discouraged; instead, he guided me with confidence and understanding every step of the way.

His teaching style is clear, encouraging, and tailored to your pace. His mix of top-tier driving knowledge and good humour made lessons something to actually looked forward to!

After a disappointing experience with another driving school, I approached Oscar from Britannia with some hesitation – but from our very first lesson, I knew I was in good hands.

Oscar’s approach was exactly what I needed: clear, direct, and fair. He wasted no time getting to the heart of what I needed to improve (junctions, roundabouts, manouvers etc.), and his calm, professional manner made it easy to build both my skills and my confidence behind the wheel.

In just six lessons, I went from feeling unsure about my driving ability and still regulalry stalling to passing my test with only one minor fault -something I never thought possible in such a short time.

I’m incredibly grateful for Oscar’s excellent instruction and support. I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive in South London – especially those who want focused, efficient, and confidence-building guidance.

I recently passed my driving test with a perfect score, and I’m really grateful to my instructors, for helping me get there.

My main instructor, Johnnie, was fantastic — calm, patient, and supportive throughout my learning journey. Starting from zero experience, he guided me step by step and really helped build my confidence behind the wheel.

I also had a mock test session with Oscar, who was equally great. He took me around the test area, shared useful tips, and made sure I was well-prepared for the real thing. His feedback was incredibly helpful and definitely contributed to my perfect pass.

The driving school itself was a bit of a mixed experience. My first assigned instructor never showed up and completely ghosted me, which was frustrating. I also had issues with vouchers not being delivered and needing to be reissued. The customer service team was helpful once I got in touch and resolved the issues.

Despite those bumps, I’d highly recommend Johnnie and Oscar. They’re both professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping their students succeed.

I had a great learning experience with my instructor Gary – he was always patient and kind and made every lesson fun. I passed today first time with 0 minors, so I think that tells you everything you need to know about how good an instructor Gary is!

Both my kids have been taking their driving lessons with Jon and both of them passed their test at first try. Can’t praise Jon enough for his engagement and his accurate way of teaching all the steps to become a successful driver. Both my son and daughter have absolutely loved their lessons. So a 5 star review for Jon and Britannia Driving School.

I was studying with Abdus, who was able to continually be professional and a good driving instructor with minimal interference and maximising the amount of time of driving we did together. He was easy to get along with and catered nicely to my needs in organising the lessons. He was a great instructor for me and I passed first time with only 2 minors!

I have just passed my driving test first time, all thanks to Britannia Driving School. My instructor Adam was really nice and walked me through everything I needed to know before going into my driving test.
