Child Car Seats – The Law

As drivers we all share a responsibility to drive in a safe and appropriate manner when on the roads. As a parent who is also a driver, you may feel that responsibility multiplies when your child is in the car.

Using a child seat is one aspect of your responsibility as a parent. This is a legal requirement until your child turns 12 years old, or reaches the height of 135cm tall – Whichever comes first.

Additionally, all car seats must be EU-approved to be used in the UK. This can be identified by by a capital E in a circle on the label.

Safe driving from Britannia!
