THE DVLA CASH IN ON 2012 OLYMPICS

The DVLA are set to cash in on the London 2012 Olympics with personal number plates that are loosely connected to the games in some way.

GO11 DEN, MEN 100M and CYC 111E are just a few examples of the plates due to go on sale at London’s City Hall in June.

The cost of these number plates are not published yet but are thought to fetch thousands.

With some of the plates relating to particular competitors at the Olympics such as DA11 LEY which diver Tom Daley might be interested in, the DVLA will have an auction to remember.
