Vinni was an easy instructor, taught me well and was patient with me. Also gave me good advice about taking the test.
Britannia driving school, not only has dedicated and passionate driving instructors needed to aid you with the essential skills needed to pass you’re driving test, but also the employees at Britannia’s head office make you like one of the ‘gang’ if you have the opportunity to stop by. I had the opportunity to spend five amazing weeks with my instructor Jane who was welcoming, bubbly but also reassuring, which put me at ease from the very first basic lesson I had. So if you’re looking for a driving school who is reasonably priced, who will put you at ease knowing your instructor is trained to the highest level, a driving school that won’t waste your time and money, Britannia is the driving school for you. The only thing I would say is now I’ve passed my driving test I’m sad I won’t have my intensive lessons with Jane anymore.
I needed to pass my driving test quickly. I booked a 21 hour crash course and in 8 days I had my full driving license and only picked up two minors. My instructor was called Lee, he helped me gain confidence and skills so quickly and the car was so easy to drive in. I would highly recommend Britannia Driving School, the crash course option and the driving instructor Lee to anyone who wants to pass first time!
I learnt in 6 days, Alex was my instructor and was fantastic, can’t believe I did it so quick!
I have just passed my driving test today, thanks to the Awesome Charlie. Even though I may have driven him crazy with my ditzy self. I can say I don’t think I’d of passed without him. I will definitely be back for my Pass Plus 😀
One word: PAUL!!! Paul was thee best. He was Yoda to my Luke Skywalker. I used to be afraid of cars because i thought they were fire breathing beasts but PAUL taught me not to be afraid. AND I AM NOT AFRAID! I can not recommend him enough. THANKS PAUL!
Passed first time thanks to Sylvie! I thank her so much for her patience and her brilliant techniques and tips which have allowed me to become a confident driver. I always looked forward to her lessons as she has the most amazing personality, she made me feel at ease every lesson while still teaching me everything I needed to know. If you are looking for a patient, flexible, excellent driving instructor, Tim is your man. Nothing is too much trouble, Tim provides excellent written resources along with expert guidance. I passed my driving test with no minors first time. I chose Tim as over five of my friends have done exactly the same as myself. Tim’s mantra is to coach his students to way above test standard and taking a personal interest in ensuring the safety of his students after their test. Tim also instilled in me a real sense of confidence about my driving, which has helped me to be confident in my decisions on the road and to stay safe. I cannot recommend him enough.
Many thanks to Alex – I passed my driving test with just 3 minor fault this afternoon! Alex was endlessly patient at explaining the manoeuvers and took lots of time to explain the test routes, pointing out tricky spots and how to handle them with the result that I felt really comfortable with the area when out on the road in the test. He was also brilliant about fitting in lessons whenever we could make it work – the 7am lessons before work may not have been ideal but proved invaluable. Many many thanks. Sarah

Jon was a fantastic instructor. Always entertaining and very knowledgeable, he got me driving very well very quickly and made the two hour lessons enjoyable every week!
Thank you to Max, my driving instructor, who in a firm, but always friendly way ensured i was up to the test standard. My lessons with Max gave me the confidence that i needed to pass the test and taught me how to drive in a safe manner in all traffic conditions, from busy A roads to quiet residential streets.

One word: PAUL. Simply the Best. I just had to write a review to say Thank You because Paul is a great instructor and the ONLY reason I’ve passed my driving test 1st time, after starting my lessons 2 months ago. Despite my nerves, Paul managed to keep me calm and was always an easy person to be in the car with during lessons, giving clear instructions and helping me become more confident. What I liked most about Paul (apart from his humour), is that he took a genuine pride in his own pass rate. I was also surprised when after a few lessons he encouraged me to book a test, (I’d heard stories of driving schools/ instructors trying to waste pupil’s time and money) and so it was great that we had a target to work towards. Me and Parallel-Parking were not friends for a looonnnng time, so Paul must have the patience of a saint, because he never showed annoyance or frustration when I messed up, and must have dug deep into his reservoir of techniques to find one that suited me. Thank you Britannia and thank you Paul.
Passed my driving test after learning from Sylvie! She understands your needs in learning driving, and teaches you goods and bads with her excellent teaching skills. She has a great personality that you would look forward for your next driving class. And her techniques are so good for manoeuvres. Having learnt to drive with Paul for around 12 months, I can honestly say I’ve learnt far more than I ever expected in that time, not only have I now passed my driving test (with only 3 minors) the general life lessons that have been passed down are similar to a Yoda/Luke Skywalker situation. Contingency plans for dealing with aggravated members of the public (namely chinning), further contingency plans for dealing with an aggravated Mrs (again, chinning), the alternative benefits of fridge magnets and much much more! Joking aside, Paul is a fantastic instructor who provided the support, advice and confidence boosting I needed to pass my test, I looked forward to my lessons and never considered them a chore and we genuinely had a good laugh! Paul’s relaxed yet assertive approach to driving gave me the assurance I needed that not all cars are the fire breathing metal crunching death traps I feared them to be and now I can approach the road with the confidence that I have been taught to drive to the highest standard possible at my level. I will be going back for my passplus soon, thanks again to Britannia & Paul, cheers!

If you are not only looking for an excellent driving instructor, yet also someone who has a good sense of humor, than I definitely can recommend you Neil! From the beginning on he explained everything very carefully to me and thought me to drive in all kinds of traffic and speed. He creates a calm, relaxing and friendly environment in the car making the driving lessons feel like a chat with a friend. Thank you very much Neil for teaching me to drive and I would strongly recommend him to anyone!
