I wanted to say how excellent an instructor Robert was. He was professional, patient and a great teacher. I feel that I have not only passed, but that I am a much more confident and competent driver now. It is difficult to remain patient with a learner during 5 to 6 hours of driving, and it’s clear that Robert is experienced in bringing out the best in learners. I am really happy with the whole experience, including the ease of booking, communication throughout and the cost, and will definitely recommend Britannia to others.
I have just passed my practical driving test after undergoing an intensive course with Tim. I would highly recommend Tim as an instructor and thought he was absolutely brilliant throughout the course (4 hours x 6 days). I failed my driving test a couple of times when I was 17/18 and at 26 I really needed to get my license. I opted for the intensive route and am delighted with how it has all gone. I was assigned Tim as my instructor and he got me up to test standard extremely quickly having not been in a car for 8 years. The tuition was very thorough but at the same time enjoyable and practical. Tim’s patient approach really helped with getting to grips with driving again and I would strongly recommend going down the intensive route with him for fast results. I should also say that the team at Britannia were great when going through the registration phase too. Thanks Tim!!
I’ve just recently passed a practical driving test. Jon was my instructor, he is an amazing person I have so much respect for this man. As an older learner I was nervous about starting my driving lessons but he was very professional, punctual, patient, and fun to work with, he certainly knew how to motivate and give me confidence in order to get me through the driving test and I could not have done it without him! You are very fortunate to have an employee like him working for your company, he is the best of the best and because of him I will always recommend Britannia Driving School and especially Jon. For whatever it’s worth I feel he should be paid top salary you’ve got gold on your hands. Thank you very much Jon my wonderful instructor for everything, very much appreciated!
I am writing a review about Daniel, who is by far the best driving instructor I have had. He is straight to the point who is very focused and caring. As well as that he is a great person to talk to as he made me feel very relaxed about my test today which I passed. I thought the nerves would get the better of me but no, Daniel helped me through that and was an excellent teacher to have. As well as this, he was always on time to the lessons and would make every minute count. I would recommend him any time. THANK you Daniel!
I have just passed my test at the Morden test centre in South West London after 29 hours of lessons over 6 weeks. My instructor was Paul, he was fantastic. I had previously had one lesson with another driving school, which turned out to be a bad experience and really put me off, but as soon as I got in the car with Paul I was put at ease. He is calm, relaxed and extremely knowledgeable, in other words he really knows his stuff and makes the lesson fun at the same time. I would never have believed that 6 weeks after my first lesson I would be taking, and passing my test! And that is down to Paul. I cant recommend him enough, if you have any doubts or worries about driving, give Paul a try and before you know it you’ll be driving safely and confidently and you will actually enjoy it!
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to my calm, knowledgeable instructor, ZAC. He was a wonderful teacher, encouraging, knowledgeable and calm. He helped me to pass where previous instructors had not succeeded. Highly, highly recommended.
Passed on first attempt, Barry my instructor was wonderful. he really did help me. Only had four driving faults and the rest is me driving down, switching lanes and ready to take on the world:)
I would like to write a review about my driving instructor Mark. Before taking lessons with Mark, I had had over 40 hours of driving lessons with another instructor but despite this I had failed my test 4 times. Because of this I had become a nervous driver and didn’t really believe in myself when it came to driving. Mark’s ability to answer any of my questions in great detail thanks to his thorough knowledge of driving, his structured course method and his honest feedback about my drinving has allowed me to pass my test with only 3 minors and having known Mark for just over a week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Britannia school of having put me in touch with Mark as it is without a doubt that it is thanks to Mark alone that I have been able to pass. Neil is a fantastic, very experienced teacher with genuine talent for teaching. I started my lessons being absolutely terrified of driving and having had a bad experience of trying to learn many years ago. He immediately found the right approach for me and I came home with a smile after my first lesson. He made every lesson as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. I felt safe with him in the car and eventually started to feel safe on the road. I passed first time! I cannot recommend Neil highly enough. He has got everything you would look for in a driving instructor!
I could not give Britannia a higher recommendation. I had been trying to pass my driving test for 3 years before I passed first time with my Britannia instructor Jane. I felt I was a competent driver but would crumble with nerves during the test. Jane not only taught me how to drive confidently and safely, but also prepared me so well for the test that I had no need to feel nervous. I passed with flying colours! I have recommended Jane to friends and am looking to do the Pass Plus course with her soon.
I highly recommend Jane, my driving teacher. She is a great teacher who really works on the students weaknesses. We practice the same over and over again until I finally got it! She is very kind and interesting to talk to. Also, very hard working so she gave me class on weekends or early mornings, so I could fit more hours in a short space of time. I had a few other instructors in the past and I can surely say that she is the best of all of them. Yesterday I passed my test, thanks so much JANE!
I’m writing a review about John, he is an amazing teacher, knows exactly how to get the best out of you so that when it comes time for your test you are more than prepared. If you are lucky enough to get him as your instructor, listen to everything he says, there is method to his madness, and there is wisdom in everything he says so listen and take it on board. I did and passed first time, and if you get a chance do the pass plus with him as well. Thank you John!
Max is great guy and a great driving instructor. I had previously taken lessons with another school in South London. I did not consider myself a bad driver or a slow learner but needed somehow to get over the line (despite my busy work schedule), as I had a new baby and was about to move abroad, where I would need to drive. Max managed to address my weaknesses and explain my faults to me in a way I could clearly understand, digest and absorb quickly. He was patient and suitably analytical, so you were never left thinking: “why can’t I get that right?” He also worked around my busy work schedule and showed real commitment to get me over the line. He was genuinely as relieved and happy as I was when I passed. Thanks Max. I really appreciate your efforts. Adam

I cannot recommend CHRIS highly enough. I had never before sat behind a wheel and have rather a giddy personality! Each lesson Chris put me totally at ease. He adapted his tutoring style to suit my personality and I even had fun learning with him. In my late 30’s I could never have imagined actually enjoying learning to drive! He is incredibly calm, patient and knowledgeable. Importantly he can explain instructions in different ways until I understand it. I am absolutely thrilled to now have my driving licence and am planning to investigate Pass Plus with Chris. Book him through Britannia and you won’t regret it!
With the help and guidance of my instructor Tim, I passed my driving test first time today. Tim taught me not only how to pass my test, but predominantly how to be a safe driver for as long as I’m on the road. From lesson one, his clear and concise explanations ensured that I knew exactly what I was supposed to be doing. He did not leave me feeling uneasy or worried about any aspects where I encountered difficulties, he took me through them again and again until the problem was solved. I would recommend Tim to anyone without hesitation!! I must thank Tim for imparting his wisdom to me, in a manner which made learning to drive wholly enjoyable.
