My instructor was Jon F, and he was excellent. He was very patient, and professional. The car was also a very nice new Focus, in pristine condition, and I liked that I was learning in a decent size car instead of something like a Micra etc. I felt I was very well prepared for the test, and I sailed through. Thanks Jon !!
Phil was a great instructor, gave me very valuable tips for manoeuvres to make them much easier.
He was very reliable and had a new car to learn in which was easy to drive.

I had two instructors with Britannia and both were great! Lessons were steady enough at the beginning that you didn’t feel that you were being thrown in the deep end but not too slow so you always felt you were progressing. In the build up to your test they were also fantastic, the tips and hints given were so helpfull and running through different test routes and mock tests was invaluable. Both instructors (Steve and Graham) were really pleasant, happy and supportive people. I have recommended Britannia to many friends and am happy to recommend them to many more. I passed my test first time after only 3 1/2 months driving and this is credit to Britannia’s great instructors! Thanks a lot!
I am really happy to see my hard earned driving license in my wallet today. Behind the wheel I always used to feel anxious and panicky. But I am happy to have had John Tyson as my instructor. He’s such a lovely person who is very understanding and so patient. Thanks a lot to John and Britannia!!!

I had been driving for more than 14 years in India. I thought I was really a good driver until I met John Tyson. He helped me identify my weaknesses and many bad driving habits. It took me a while to get rid of those habits and I really appreciate John’s patience. I got my license in the first go and all credit goes to John. Now I guess I can say that I am a better driver. 🙂
I started my driving with another driving school and due to their poor customer services and lateness of the instructors I found Britannia on the Internet.
PHIL was my driving instructor. He was always prompt for lessons and gave me the maximum driving tuition I needed during my paid hours. He is very good and patient. He would never let me go home without finding a solution to any problem I had during driving lessons. I like his car as well because it is brand new and very comfortable .
I will recommend him to anyone wishing to pass within the shortest possible time. So far he remains my best Instructor and he is very funny and polite. Thanks to PHIL and BRITANNIA I have now got my full UK licence.
I can’t believe I passed first time today!! My instructor Keith was exceptional – I did an intensive course with him and lessons with him were a delight. He also helped me pass my theory test which I struggled with at first.
The girls in the office were also fantastic, especially Emma who is an angel, sorting out my whole course and booking me with an instructor as great as Keith!
I’m so glad I chose Britannia, I couldnt have done it without them! Thank you!

Tim is a great instructor when I met him I spoke to him about taking lessons and he said to me “I can make you pass your practical test in less than 40 lessons” I didn’t believe and when we started I didn’t even know how to hold steering wheel but yesterday Monday the 28/04/2014 I passed my practical test with an outstanding result. The great Tim is magical, skilled and passionate. Thanks again to Britannia and Tim.
I just passed today after nearly a year of learning with Elliot. I would highly recommend him when choosing an instructor- he is very passionate and uses a technique to make important things stick in your mind. He makes you become a confident driver and helps you to learn how to drive for life. Thank you to Elliot and Britannia!
I passed my driving test thanks to John T, my instructor at Britannia. Although I have previous experience as a driver, I had to get rid of a few nasty habits, such as not looking in the mirrors and not planning ahead well enough, which led me to take last-second decisions in traffic and incur safety faults. In this regard, John T was spotless: he was always very attentive to every detail, and most importantly, explaining why it was dangerous to do what I was doing. For example, while reversing, I was trusting the mirrors too much and not looking towards the rear window. He told me: “Mind the blind spots. What if there were small children running towards the back of the car? You wouldn’t’ve seen them, would you?” And because I’ve got a small daughter myself, that made me think twice. 🙂
In fact, I could really say that John T has got the ‘eye of the tiger’ — whatever mistake I made while driving, even a barely noticeable one, he would ALWAYS pick it up! And that’s exactly what every learner should look for in a driving instructor: the stricter, the better. (But don’t worry, he’s very friendly too! LOL)
Mind you, he also has experience as an examiner, so he surely knows what he’s talking about! 🙂
Anyway, John T does his job as he should. Simple as that. Not only does he prepare you for the driving test, he prepares you for the real life as a driver. And I’m not ashamed of saying what I’m going to say: it’s professionals like him that keep my faith in humanity.
This said, if you want to pass your test AND be a confident driver, look no further: John T is the solution!

Jon F is the best driving instructor you could wish for.
Before I met him, I had a bad experience with the previous driving instructor. Lucky enough, Jon reassure me and helped me learn everything that i needed to pass.
Jon is a wonderful person and teacher, whom i highly recommend. He is funny, reliable, caring and sometimes very strict, but overall he is a true gentlemen. So thank you again Jon.

John O was a very competent and sincere driving instructor. He had expert knowledge of his craft. He was flexible in getting appointment times, which I appreciated. I passed first time with 4 minors.
My Driving instructor was Nick, I would definitely recommend him! He is patient, easy going and very competent. Helped me pass first time and ensures that you are not overly stressed whilst learning. He will adjust the teaching speed depending on how easy or difficult it is for you and his teaching method is great enough to help anyone pass first time!
