He is a brilliant teacher and the best instructor, reliable, professional and very, very patient.
I can honestly say that he helped me with my nerves and his teaching style is relaxed and he takes time to explain thing well.

Neil Bamforth is the best, so glad he came out of retirement to help me get through. He is a good asset to Britannia. Also Emma in the office has been such a great help with sorting all the tests out and always so helpful. A big thank you to everyone at Britannia.
I have passed my test with Graham Blackwell and without his patience and support I would not be able to overcome my fears of driving in the different situations and roads. He gave me a lot of confidence over the months that we were driving together. Besides him being the best instructor that I ever had (I had few) he is also a really fun person to be in a car for 2 hours during each lesson. And he always made me feel at ease and making me believe that I’m better than I think I’m.
I could not recommend him enough.
I passed the test on my first attempt, 24/08/2015, to the astonishment of both myself and perhaps my instructor, Darren, although by then he must have had extraordinary confidence in his teaching abilities. Darren remained calm throughout all my wrongdoings, and there were many of them, ranging from the classic bout of stalling at the start of the course to my generally shoddy banter towards the end (and the start too actually). I will never forget the 30 hours worth of teaching that I had this summer. Darren – you’re the dude.
It was wonderful experience learning from Mary. She has infinite saint like patience and she is a brilliant teacher.
I’ve been driving in India for over 5 years now. She precisely concentrated my efforts on important aspects UK-style driving and I was ready for test just in few hours of lessons. I cleared it first time. During test, I brushed a kerb once and the examiner said and I quote “Where did you pick this up from, I am sure Mary wouldn’t have taught you this.”- that says it all about her reputation.
My wife would be starting her lessons with Mary soon. I would highly recommend lessons from her for any new or experienced learners.
I would like to thank George for helping me pass first time last week with only three minors! His rhymes and mnemonics are brilliant and I’ll never forget them. I found that under his supervision I was carrying out manoeuvres almost perfectly with only a few attempts. Thank you George and Britannia Driving School.
i want to say a big thank you to my driving instructor Ian. He is such an amazing teacher. very tolerant, patient and above all has a very unique way of teaching . he is very positive when teaching . i am very grateful to have him teach me how to drive in only 7weeks with only one day a week lesson and passed with flying colours. thank you once again Ian
I was recommended Tim by a friend of mine who had passed with him. He is a great teacher who really helps you to understand where you are going wrong and how to improve. Thanks to Tim’s teaching I passed my test today first time with only one minor.
I would highly recommend Britannia Driving School. I did a 6 day intensive driving course and passed my test at the end of it. Jon the driving insructor was extremely helpful and i thoroughly enjoyed working with him. I must also give a mention to the office staff who again made things very easy and straight forward. First class service and delighted now to have my licence.
I failed my test two times. Then had just four hours of driving with Nick and passed the test with one minor. He showed me everything I needed to know and never let me make the same mistake again. I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to learn to drive.
Great experience with the Britannia Driving School. Having decided to book the week long intensive driving course, I couldn’t have asked for a better guy than Ian to spend 4 hours a day in the car with. Would recommend both the approach and instructor to anyone.

After nearly 10 years away from driving and with a naturally nervous disposition it was with trepidation that I started learning again. However, thanks to Darren’s patience and perseverance I am now a happy and confident driver and managed to pass at my first attempt with just two minors.

Elliot was such a fantastic instructor. After several bad experiences with driving lessons he made me feel completely at ease from day one. His NLP method was extremely effective – and I think Tom and Bob will stay with me for life! I really enjoyed all of my lessons and could not recommend Elliot highly enough, he built up my confidence and made sure I was a safe driver. Brilliant!!
Jane was a fantastic driving instructor and I could not have asked for a better one! She is extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable from the first lesson! She was very encouraging and perfect for anxious drivers. Jane has a bubbly, open and friendly personality and we would constantly chat and laugh during our lessons, making them incredibly fun. However, Jane does know when to be serious and her teaching technique is effective, concise and clear! I love that she doesn’t mind how many questions I ask, as long as I understand. If you really want to enjoy driving, Jane is perfect!
I have passed my driving test on 17th Aug 2015. I am really thankful to my driving instructor Tim. He is very good at teaching things and very supportive. I have passed the test in the first attempt itself. And I would give 80% of credit to Tim for that. I strongly recommend Tim, if you are really looking
for a very good driving instructor with good patience.
Britannia driving school gave me a punctual,dedicated and professional driving instructor Elton who is one in a million driving instructors one can recommend. I had Elton just over 2 months ago and passed 3 weeks ago with 7 minors. I am eternally grateful to the team at Britannia driving school and most especially to Elton.
