I am happy with what I have learned from this experience and the way that I was taught. I would like to thank my instructor Elliot and britannia driving school.
So, after 30 years of riding motorbikes, I decided to get my car licence. At first, I checked with smaller local schools – who told me I needed to take theory test again (wrong) and that my full bike licence could not also be my provisional car licence (also wrong).
I then contacted Britannia, as a more established school – who gave me the correct information but also advised to double check with DVSA – they confirmed Britannia as correct. Naturally, I went with them.
In brief, the office staff were great from the go – Natalie was helpful first contact with right info and Katie as helpful during lesson course.
My instructor Neil is highly recommended – I’m confident & calm but being an affable Northerner made it all easy and sometimes even fun. I think he’d be even better if you’re of a nervous disposition or just need that extra encouragement.
I took a semi-intensive course and after just 15 lessons passed first time (!) – my bike road experience obviously helped and the test is of course partly luck. But considering I had no other car experience except with Neil (where I was driving ok after just 2 hours!) I will only say this – if you’re thinking of using Britannia – do it now.
Elliot is the best driving instructor! I have had 2 previous instructors and he was the best. He used the NLP method which helped me remember everything I needed in order to pass and drive safely and confidently. I also passed first time round and felt really comfortable and confident during my practical test. I highly recommend Elliot. I am so happy!!!
I started a two week intensive course with no experience whatsoever, It was my very first time driving a car and I didn’t have any confidence at all but within two weeks my instructor Neil made sure I passed with flying colours! I passed with only two minors for hesitation. I highly recommend the intensive course and my instructor Neil was a fantastic teacher (a friendly, funny and very chatty northern bloke) a pleasure to be around everyday. I couldn’t thank him enough.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to my instructor Elliot, without whom I don’t think I would have passed my test first time round!!! I started off as a very hesitant driver but thanks to his NLP methods and encouragement I was able to improve really quickly. If your looking for an instructor then he’s the guy to go to!
I am so happy to pass my driving test with John O’s help. He help me to tackle all my driving weakness and issues. I am so please I only get one minor mistake in my driving test.

I have just passed my test at Sutton test center. I am so overwhelmed with joy right now. My instructor was Mary and she has just been absolutely amazing. I failed before with another instructor and thought I would never pass. But Mary was so patient, calm, professional, knowledgeable, practical and just filled me with bundles of good advice and confidence. She understood where I was at and was instrumental in facilitating an action plan that would overcome the great challenge that I faced. I thoroughly recommend Mary to anyone who needs a firm but sensitive hand. Mary, thank you so much.
I am so glad I got George as my instructor, definitely wouldn’t have passed first time without him! He gave me confidence since the first lesson and combined with his constant constructive nagging helped me pass! Everything he repeated was just stuck in my head for those 40 minutes and it helped by far!
He was so patient with me at the start and pushed me further than I knew I could go. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that asked, he is a great teacher

I’ve had lessons with two other driving schools before and feel i didn’t get satisfactory training. However with John at britannia, I was able to pass after a week intensive course. He is hands down the best instructor I’ve had.
He’s very patient, knows what he’s doing and full of great anecdotes! Make sure to ask about his trip to windy Scotland…
Darren has been a brilliant instructor and went a massive way to helping me pass my test on my first attempt. I felt very confident with his guidance, he is a patient teacher and takes the time to explain things and to be encouraging, and he is of course also very friendly. I would definitely recommend him to others!

I booked the 7 day intensive course and passed my driving test first time round. From booking the driving lessons to booking the driving test, Britannia took care of everything and were very professional and friendly.
I had John as my instructor and must say that he was brilliant. He was very patient and approachable, making me feel relaxed and calm – a must when trying to learn how to drive.

I just had my driving test in Morden and passed. John O is a very brilliant instructor and a great guy. He will teach you all you need to know and if it doesn’t work out, then he won’ t give up until you succeed. In conclusion he is a boss.
P.S. If you don’ t like Chelsea then you may not like him.
I came to Britannia after having a few lessons somewhere else which I was not happy with. I was assigned to Graham who was a great instructor – I knew from the start he would help me gain confidence and drive safely.
I passed my driving test today and it was all thanks to Graham! He was super friendly, approachable and really good company. Graham taught me helpful tips and tricks to get me through the test and was always really supportive.
I thoroughly recommend Graham and Britannia Driving School to anyone who is considering it.
I could not recommend John enough!!! With his years of experience and guidance I managed to pass my test with only 2 minors. Not only is he a brilliant driving instructor but he is a great laugh too. Thank you John!!!
I had my driving lessons with Mary who was absolutely perfect from start to finish. She showed me great patience and helped me to remain calm at all times. I learned to drive in a manner which suited me well and gave me the confidence to pass my test. I remembered her positive words of encouragement and advice throughout the test and I believe it helped to get me through. Highly recommended. A brilliant instructor!!
I just passed my driving test with only 2 faults. My instructor was John O. i would recommend him as an instructor and Britannia driving school as a whole.
I would like to extend my gratitude for the service that Britannia has provided to me, otherwise I would not have passed my practical test.
The majority of my praise goes to my instructor, Elliott, without whom, I would have ended up in a ditch somewhere in South West London (my failed attempt at humour).
I highly recommend him to any eager driving student, as his caring nature and authoritative presence is, in my opinion, a determining factor in the quest for successful and safe driving. Again, I would not have passed my driving test had it not been for those qualities.
I recommend Elliott for a pay rise/promotion because he deserves it. And I appreciate the wonderful service Britannia has given me.
