My instructor Elliot was great! He was always very professional and his NLP technique worked marvells on my driving. Also, he has a new car, which made it so much easier to pass my test!
I did a 21 hour intensive course with Matthew and passed my test at the end of the 6 days! I had taken lessons (and a test) before, but was rusty, and lacking in confidence. Matthew was brilliant, really calm and nice, and my experience of Britania on the phone and booking my test was a really positive one. Highly recommended!
My instructor was really good and friendly. He gently encouraged me when i went wrong and gave me good directions on how to drive safely. I passed my test first time and took the intensive driving course over a week, and i highly recomend it
Having just passed my driving exam with only 3 minors, I would like to take this opportunity to thank and praise my fantastic driving instructor. I have had the fortune to be trained by John O. who I can confidently say made the whole process an overall success. I have enjoyed every lesson, particularly as I never felt an urge or a rush to complete things within a certain time period; the whole experience went at a pace which was comfortable and I really appreciate the preparation which John gave me. John made sure that all the serious content of the lessons was balanced with enough enjoyment making not a single lesson boring or uninteresting. For these reasons and many more, I would highly recommend John for all those who begin from scratch or are simply in need of a little more support on the road.
I would highly recommend Darren as a driving instructor. He is very good at what he does, the way he explains how to do things is easy to understand and his knowledge of driving is exceptional. Helped me pass first time! Thanks Darren!
My driving instructor was Jane , who from the get go made believe i had a good chance of passing.she,s a good laugh and put me at ease from day one.I enjoyed every lesson and will miss her.I highly recommended. .she’s pretty good..don’t tell her that,she’ll love it.☺x
After my intensive course, Neil managed to pass me 1st time! Little did Neil know this helped me within my career as a close protection officer.I would honestly recommend Neil!!!! secret about Neil he’s a big softy and he’s a cat lover haha ;). I passed my licence in 2012 but never really felt confident and had an accident soon after which really made me fear driving. Just 2 lessons with Mary and I felt like I had never known driving before. She highlighted my mistakes spot on and help me work on them very systematically. She was patient, gave me sufficient time, and didn’t rush me even though lesson was about to finish. Very professional yet very connected. I feel very much more confident and safe now. I am more than happy to recommend her to anyone.
Driving instructor was fantastic, always encouraging and supportive throughout. Constantly pushing me to become a better and more safe driver. With his expert tuition and some hard work, I have now passed my test. I would thoroughly recommend Britania driving school and Max to anyone who wants to learn to drive.
Jon my instructor gave me the confidence I needed to pass my test after a previous instructor with a different company made me feel as if I would never get there. The lessons were always focused on covering as much as possible in the time we had and I always came away thinking I had learnt something and that it was money well spent. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to pass there test and learn to drive.
I had a great experience with Britannia. My instructor Max was fantastic, he was organised in the way he approached my learning and when things did not go the way i wanted in certain situations he was helpful / understanding which helped me pass !
Dear Britannia team, Im writing to you to give feedback re my refresher course with John O. I decided to take few driving lessons because of the recent trip abroad where I had to drive. Until that point I havent driven at all for 6 years. My first lesson was exhausting! I had to concentrate on so many things and wasnt aware of few rules that came in after I passed my test (e.g. I didnt know how to handle roundabouts and cyclists). After that lesson I decided that Ill do the trip but thats it, I wont be driving again. My 2nd lesson was much better, my body and mind remembered what to do and what to look out for. After that I kind of couldnt wait to get in the car and drive. ; ) John is an excellent teacher and a nice guy. I felt at ease to ask him any questions. But the most important thing is that he gave my confidence back to drive again. I am a driver! I just needed a bit of a push to get into it again. I can thoroughly recommend doing a refresher course. It doesnt matter if you havent driven in ages or are a nervous driver, this course WILL give you your confidence back. There is nothing to worry about on the road as John wont only teach you how to operate your car but also how to assess the situation in front of you and look ahead. This combination helped me during my recent trip. And John, youll be happy to hear that Im planning to sign up for zipcar so I can drive around London as well. ; ) Thank you for giving me my confidence back!
I had 2 hour lessons every week and by the time of my test I was prepared for what was ahead of me, my instructor was patient and explained things very clearly, lessons were fun and informative, he was always on time and never cut any lessons short by a few minutes.
I would highly recommend Britannia to anyone who wants to pass their driving test.
Couldn’t recommend Britannia Driving School more!! My instructor Darren made sure that I understood exactly not only how to pass the test but to be an overall good and safe driver. After some bad experiences with other instructors Darren made sure I was engaged, observant & understood the reasoning of his instructions. My driving instructor Darren, was very good. He kept me on my toes and made sure I understood exactly what I was doing. Would 100% recommend him to anyone. Always on time and was there from the beginning to the end of the practical test. What a man!

After starting and stopping driving lessons with other instructors several times over the years, I was very lucky to get John as my driving instructor at Britannia. He made sure I understood absolutely everything, was patient and easy to talk to and made sure I was completely ready for the practical test. I look forward to seeing him again for the pass plus!
