I did the intensive course for automatic driving and had the instructor, David. It was an absolutely fantastic experience as I passed first time! David was incredibly knowledgeable about driving and was able to explain really and concisely why and how to do driving to not only pass a test but also to drive at high standard for the future. He never wasted any time, always worked out when I needed a break and was very calm in some quite stressful situations. If it wasn’t for his style of instructing and great knowledge about the test and how to drive to a very high standard there is no way I could have passed first time. I highly highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn in a short space of time, what ever your level. Needless to say, I had a fantastic experience with Britannia and my instructor overall.

My instructor James Ryan was fantastic. I have had 3 different instructors in the past and was not a confident driver but James made me feel at ease straight away. He is a very kind and patient instructor. He really helped me build confidence in my driving. It took me a long time to pass the test due to nerves but James helped me to stick at it for which I am grateful. I am so happy now that I have passed and will likely return to James for some motorway lessons when I have a car.
James was an excellent instructor!!He explained everything very clearly and made me feel at ease when driving. He was always patient, calm and thorough in his teaching, James is also very funny. Highest recommendation for Darren!! Having many past instructors Darren is the most patient, positive and consistent instructor. ive had. He helped me deal with my driving anxieties and helped me become a confident driver. Darren has great knowledge of the test routes and what examiners are looking for to pass you. He helped me feel comfortable behind the wheel and ensured I was well prepared for my test. He was a constant motivation and support regardless of how many mistakes I made. Darren had confidence in my ability and continued to push me. I highly recommend Darren for anybody who wants to pass first time. His lessons are fun, tailored to your needs and he has great driving and teaching techniques. 10/10
Johnnie is easily the best instructor you can ask for. In less than ten days, I have completed my driving test, without any previous driving experience whatsoever. He is honest, confident and professional. Definitely recommend him, without him I’d not have passed my test!
Having just passed my driving test- with only 3 minors; I am so much grateful to my driving instructor Graham…And it feels amazing having passed the test while 36 weeks pregnant.
I have been driving for nearly 20 years in Turkey which I found it very challenging to start from scratch to be able to be a qualified driver in England. Graham, provided me all the information and tips to be able to pass the test. With his constant reminders of my mistakes, I was able to correct my mistakes.
He is very knowledgeable and experienced and patient which one needs to be able to pass the test. He know all the routes from his memory and all potential type of examiners that you might have. So I was nearly prepared for anything that might come up. Although I only had 10-12 lessons, the test day was brilliant and I was feeling very confident having known the possibilities.
I was a bit worried before the test since I failed the mock test twice. Having mock test drives was a great idea to have it before the test day. Thanks to Graham, this failure helped me to concentrate more and learn from my mistakes.
One little advice for everyone- visualise your mistakes in your mind, write them down and also write all the routines of driving and practice them in your head before either each lesson or more importantly the test day. I think as well as practical training, mental training helps a lot.
One last driving, although Turkey has a worse driving system and worse drivers, I found it very challenging to drive here in England:))
