Hi there, I just wanted to commend you on your website, it is the most helpful website I have found for FREE online theory test practice. Most websites you have to pay, or download Flash player which isn’t very helpful. I have my theory next week and I feel your website has helped me loads and I am a lot more confident. I passed my driving test last week after a couple of months of lessons with Vinni. Although I have held a drivers licence from a foreign country for over 8 years I had previously failed the UK test. I found Vinnie’s instruction incredibly useful and encouraging and I think that passing the test with only three minors shows what a great instructor he is. I would also like to thank the Britannia help desk for being so quick and efficient in arranging my first lesson.

A big thank you to Robert for getting me through my test earlier this month. Thanks to his patience and excellent teaching skills, I passed with just a few minor faults after 6 months of lessons with him. He really built my confidence – a great teacher.

Fantastic driving instructor John – passed first time – excellent lessons!! I am extremely grateful, I would highly recommend John to anybody learning to drive. He is patient, reliable and always jolly. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons. John teaches driving for life and not just to pass the test. Thank you to John!! I would like to give a very big recommendation, and a massive thanks to Roy from Britannia. He has been training me for my driving test and up to this moment I am very satisfied with his tuition. He is a very professional instructor who has helped me become very confident and gave me the skills to pass the test, which I did on the 11th of November. I highly recommend Roy to anyone I know. Mary- I vote her the driving instructor of the year!!!! I had Mary as my driving instructor over the last few months. She is such a patient and constructive individual. I admire her style of teaching and I hope I can take a few of her traits to my own place of work teaching student nurses. She was always on time, always tried to fit you in. Even though she likes to have Monday as her day off she never had any hesitations when I asked if I could book my test for a Monday. She even offered to come and see me so much earlier for extra lessons on her day off. She is committed and excellent at what she does. I’m going to miss her a lot. She holds some excellent conversation in traffic or just waiting for the light to go green. She is very encouraging and always boosted my confidence with her positive attitude.

I’ve just passed my driving test after learning with John and two days later I’m still on cloud 9! As a teacher I couldn’t recommend John highly enough and he is a top bloke as well! He is a fantastic teacher who takes real pride in his work and genuinely cares about his students progress. His enthusiastic approach really pays off and I looked forward to my lessons every week. It was a pleasure to put a smile on his face by passing the test first time! Thanks for all your help John!

From the very first assessment booked through Britannia, he knew just what I needed to work on, and the best way to teach it to me. I am a 28 year old woman and I have just passed my driving test – hooray! I would highly recommend my instructor Jon at Britannia Driving School. He was brilliant at helping me to conquer my fears and getting me out of previously learned bad habits. Under his tuition I was able to find my confidence and learn independent driving and all the skills I needed to drive safely and enjoy it as well! Jon’s meticulous attention to detail and friendly attitude means that driving and learning with him has been a pleasure.

Cannot give enough praise, really quick at getting back to me after my internet enquiry, others dithered and lost out! Got given Lee as my instructor, really calm, easy going guy who immediately put me at ease. I only needed a few lessons as had been driving a motorbike for 5 years, he immediately recognised this and advised me to book my test ASAP. Brilliant experience, passed first time with a few minors that were all nerves! The website is spot on with really useful resources!

Choosing Britannia as my driving school was the best decision I could have made. Not only because I passed my driving test today but also because I was taught by an excellent instructor. Not only is Albert a brilliant instructor with sublime patience and incredible knowledge, he is also a fantastic person with the greatest of character and has that rare ability to make you feel at ease. Driving with Albert was an absolute pleasure. Even the countless amount of mistakes I made did not phase him. He creates a very safe atmosphere and I felt I had known him for years. Albert’s mastery is a critical factor in my success that I will never forget. I cannot emphasise enough the quality of service from Albert and Britannia for those looking to pass. I am really pleased to have passed my driving test first time with only 3 minor faults. Big thanks to my driving instructor Tim. I also want to give thanks to Britannia, especially Natasha who arranged my first lesson and introduced me to Tim. I had driving experience from another country but I still was not very confident to take the test. I searched online for driving instructors near my test centre and found Britannia. He has great teaching skills and his techniques for reverse maneuvers were brilliant. He covered all the test routes, roundabouts and critical areas. Even after the test while he came to drop me back to my place, he showed and explained “Turning left side to left side” in a very critical junction. I will strongly recommend Tim from Britannia to anybody not only to pass the driving test but also to learn safe driving.

I have passed my test this morning and I can’t thank John enough for all of his help and support! He has been absolutely fantastic – encouraging, supportive and fun! I would definitely recommend Britannia (especially John to anyone!) thanks a million!! 🙂

I passed my driving test today thanks to Britannia and my instructor, Ian. I went from being a nervous beginner to a confident and good driver under Ian’s wonderful instruction. I can’t praise him and Britannia highly enough! Thank you!! xx

I passed my test easily on the first try after having trained with Mary at Britannia Driving School. Being in my mid-to-late twenties, I was initially a little apprehensive to start driving. Before finding Mary, I had met with a one or two other instructors who hadn’t made me feel very confident (and to be honest I had been somewhat unimpressed with their teaching abilities). Mary, however, was calm and positive while not letting me ‘chicken out’ in any way. Considering the amount of (already stressful) hours that you will spend sitting next to your driving instructor when training, having him or her make you feel completely comfortable is a massive help, and Mary certainly does this. She was also incredibly flexible and understanding with meeting times and locations, despite having a busy schedule. So many of my friends tell horror stories about their driving instructors, I on the other hand have nothing but positive things to say about Mary. I would recommend her to anybody wanting to learn to drive but perhaps especially to ‘older drivers’ such as myself.
