Thanks so much to Nick, who helped me to pass my driving test last week. As a slightly older student I have full time work commitments and Nick was great at fitting lessons in around my hectic schedule – including a late session the night before my test after a last minute panic! The car was amazing to drive and Nick was a really patient and fair teacher (much more positive than my previous instructor!). I’d definitely recommend Nick (and Britannia) to anyone looking to take driving lessons.

I would like to thank my brilliant driving instructor Jane. Thanks to her I passed my driving test on the 1st attempt. She is a highly recommended driving instructor. She is calm, polite and has a natural talent in the way she teaches her pupils. I will really miss her lessons. If any one wants to really pass their driving test as well as become a confident and safe driver, then make sure you ask for Jane!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brilliant!!! I passed on the first attempt, this was mostly to do with Mick and his ability to focus in on what the weaknesses of his students are and improve them. He was very friendly to work with and I got along with him brilliantly. He was also very patient and having driven previously in another country, I had picked up a lot of bad habits that needed ironing out. I will recommend Mick to everyone I know. Thank you Mick!
A HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to my driving instructor Mary!!! I passed my test (albeit at my 4th attempt) last Friday, although I am pretty sure it would have been a lot quicker if I had started with Britannia and Mary. Mary is absolutely fantastic and without a doubt the best driving instructor this side of SW and I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn how to drive in a lovely, comfortable and fun environment. She is encouraging, always puts her students first and incredibly supportive (I can’t count the number of times she accommodated my busy schedule for early morning and late night lessons). I cannot thank you enough Mary and I wish you all the best. Winnie xxx
A very big thank you to my driving instructor Vinni. I passed my test (2nd attempt) with only 4 minors. I only wish I had Vinni as a driving instructor to begin with. I had terrible luck with instructors (unfortunately I had 8 in total) and thought that it was a mission to learn how to drive. But I didn’t give up and Vinni at Britannia- I guess I saved the best for last!! Thank you so much. Vinni is an amazing driving instructor and would recommend him to anyone.

I wanted to write a comment/appraisal of the intensive driving course that I took back in July of which I did not write a review. So I thought I would write one now because my driving instructor deserves the credit. “I took the intensive course with Cassandra (one of Britannia’s driving instructors back in July). I cannot sing Cassandra’s praise in a higher pitch. She was a very good coach and a real asset to any driving school. She was funny, relaxed and an all-round good person, she was also a very competent instructor whom made it easy for me to pass my test (second time but I think the examiner was overly critical on the first test). If your in the London area ask for cassandra she is more than worth it, and the school as a whole is very competent and is definitely, in my view, worth the money. Thanks”
I would like to say a BIG thank to Mary who has made me become a confident driver. She is a talented, experienced and professional instructor. Not only that, she is very pleasant, patient, honest, a mother and a friend. I had an excellent experience with her, she has done a really great job. I’m very grateful to her. My big thanks to Britannia Driving School as well. I would recommend Britannia Driving School and Mary to anyone who would like to learn to drive. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU VERY MUCH MARY …. I decided to take automatic driving lessons in New Malden, Surrey and was placed with Dave. I am pleased to say I passed 1st time and felt confident heading into the test due to his patience & attention to detail. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for those keen on gaining an automatic drivers licence. Best, Chris
Britannia driving school is fantastic! From the moment I called them until today, where I have passed my test, they have been professional, helpful and friendly. More importantly, they put me in touch with my instructor Tim, who has now become a friend. My nerves was one of the reasons that it took me so long to get through the whole driving process. Tim has been nothing short of a Saint when it comes to patience and guidance throughout the period that I have been driving with him. His instruction is kept simple, and he explains step by step how to proceed with accuracy. I will be doing my Pass Plus with Tim to cover motorways. I could not recommend Tim more highly! Especially if you can be fairly nervous. Tim will look after you 100%!! Thanks Tim! See you in a few weeks. Thanks Britannia for your professionalism, for placing me with the most awesome instructor, and for finding me a test date off the back of a cancellation so quickly!!!
At the age of 42, I was learning to drive pretty much from scratch (only having had a few lessons while in my teens). This was not something I looked forward to doing, especially since I live in London. But my experience with Britannia has been great. My driving instructor (Mary) was good at making sure I made progress (without pushing me into situations I wasn’t ready for). I have now passed my test – I would recommend this driving school to anyone else in my situation.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! I just passed my driving test and to be honest I’ve had a few different instructors through out my learning period from other schools but no one matches to Mary’s standards at Britannia, she’s by far the best instructor I experienced my time with. She passes on some good skills and always told me once you go in as a learner you’ll come out as a professional driver.
Thank you very much for helping me to find a wonderful instructor and her name is Sylvia. With pleasure I would recommend her to anybody who wants to learn and enjoy learning to drive safety. First of all she attracted me by her charming personality: she is very positive, open minded and welcoming. Secondly she is very professional (she knows the requirements needed for the driving test which is very important and helping to achieve the highest standard of needs not only for passing the driving test but also for safe driving in the future). She is punctual and very very supportive. Thanks again and I found a new lovely friend Sylvia.
Big thank you to Tim who helped me pass my test with only four minors on my first attempt. He was a wonderful teacher, very thorough and hugely patient. Tim pays special attention to detail and gave extremely good tips and advice on my driving technique. Tim’s priority was not only to help pass my test but to ensure I was a good, safe and generous driver.

I took my first lesson in 1985 and finally passed my test last week! My instructor Ian managed to relax me and banish any nerves, while always being clear and direct and realistic about what needed to be done to succeed. He was also brilliant and supportive on the day of the test itself, helping me to anticipate fully what was required of me and keeping me calm. I would heartily recommend him.

But I would like to say a bigger thank you to my driving instructor Neil, who enabled me to pass my test first time. He is a very funny, kind and helpful man and I would recommend him to anyone. Passed my driving test today, after the THIRD attempt (only 2 with Britannia). Thank you so much Mary, for all your patience and constant motivation. Managed the nerves and the roundabouts in the end! Would recommend Brittania for any learner, well worth while.
I passed my test last week and I am really happy with the help I received from my instructor Neil. He was very patient and easy going and he always found the way to reassure me when I was feeling nervous about my driving skills. Neil gave me lots of confidence and made me a really good driver, he was very flexible with the hours and worked really hard with me to overcome my weaknesses. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends. Thank you so much Neil, it was real pleasure driving with you!
