I am very pleased with Britannia. I had Anthony as my driving instructor, I did four hours a day Monday to Monday and passed my test. I began taking lessons with another driving school, but wasn’t making much progress due to clashing schedules. I then signed up for an intensive driving course with Britannia -2 hours every day for 6 days- and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life! With so little time before my test (also booked by Britannia, for the week following my lessons) the experience seemed slightly daunting at first, particularly as every lesson I learned something that should have been taught to me at my very first class. However, my instructor -Mark- was absolutely brilliant. His no-nonsense approach put an end to the bad habits I’d picked up with my previous instructors, and his encouragement and positivity regarding my improvements, gave me confidence behind the wheel. So this morning I passed my test -first time! Already discussing a pass plus course with Mark. cannot recommend him enough! thank you

I recently did an intensive driving course with Ian. He was amazing I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, he was calm, reassuring and very positive. Thanks to his help I was able to pass 1st time with only 1 minor. I would highly recommend Britannia’s intensive course and Ian for an instructor!!!
After having one previous driving instructor, with whom I got nowhere, I came across JOHN through Britannia. As I wanted to pass ASAP I took a 15 hour intensive course. John was very professional and with his style it was easy to see how well I was progressing. John knows all there is to know about cars and driving but in addition he understands us as individuals which helps overcome the problem quickly. Though I failed at the first attempt due to my silly error, passing the test second time around with a low number of minors was such a relief. Would I recommend john @ Britannia? 100%!
James has been a fantastic instructor. I would recommend ANYONE looking to learn to drive or is just desperate to pass the driving test…James is the man for the job! I used to drive overseas before but was surprised to know how much I needed to improve before I could get a licence in the UK. James was quick to figure out where do I stand and we had just focused on what I needed to practice on. What I like the most about James is that he is very experienced in what he does and knows exactly what the examiners look for in the test. He would literally get you to adapt all those ‘little things’ which impresses the examiner and you would come across as a safe and careful driver to them. James, thank you again mate and all the best for the future.
I passed my driving test on the 6/1/12 and couldn’t of done it without my driving instructor Nick! I was at ease in driving lessons which made it relaxing and fun to learn. He was extremely patient with me and taught me at a pace I could handle. I lack control over my nerves and without Nick’s help and support I wouldn’t of been ready for the test day. The car I took my lessons in was easy to control and smooth driving :). Thanks again Nick and I’ll see you soon for the pass plus course 😀
I have just passed by driving test first time with only four minors! This is all down to my driving instructor, Jon. He is professional, calm and incredibly helpful. I would recommend him to anyone. I could not have asked for more! Thank you Jon.
I had a great experience with my instructor Nick, got me passed in no time. He identified my weaknesses and taught me how to turn them into my strengths. As well as being a excellent teacher he likes a laugh which makes you feel more relaxed and comfortable when driving. I would recommended Nick at Britannia to any student looking to pass their test!!!
From not being able to drive, to passing my test the 1st time after only 6 months of lessons was just amazing and I owe all my thanks to my instructor Vinnie. A very patient and professional man, who knows he’s stuff. He found out my faults and helped me fix them, so all in all, I don’t think I could of asked for a better instructor. I passed 1st time with only 4 minors and now I’m going for my pass plus. My instructor Tim was extremely helpful in making me a safe and responsible driver. I had many other independent instructors before him, none of which were as patient, calm and respectable as him. He trained me to test standard quickly and efficiently. I am now a full uk driving licence holder thanks to him

Britannia as a driving school is very professional in its approach. I am an Indian and did not know about the process but they guided me through it and even helped to book the practical test. My tutor was Sylvie who was excellent. She allowed me to drive in a variety of situations and prepared me well for the test. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone interested in an instructor.
Jane was an amazing instructor, always friendly, patient and calm and helped me pass my test in no time. Very much recommended to anyone looking to take lessons.
I had a best Christmas present ever. I passed my practical test on 22nd of Dec and I can’t thank my instructor John enough. I’ve passed with only one fault. I have to say my instructor was very patient with me and guided me step by step to pass the test. I strongly recommend if someone is looking for an instructor who can teach you step by step and encourage you to learn the way that you are confident enough to pass the test to choose Britannia. Passed first time with Mary! Never thought it was possible she was my 3rd instructor (I’m not easy to teach!)… She and Britannia have been so great with my awkward schedule and patient with my lack of driving skills. Thank you 🙂
I could not be more impressed and satisfied with the service I received from Britannia Driving School, from the moment I picked up the phone to enquire about an intensive driving course to the fantastic feeling of passing my test. My instructor, Vinni was a star and a very patient man! After a 12 year gap of taking my last driving lessons and unsuccessful tests I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get my license. Plans to emigrate abroad proved the impetus I needed to get behind the wheel again but also gave me a very tight deadline in which to try and get my license. Hollie in the Britannia Office was great at talking me through how the course would work, incredibly efficient at booking my tests within such a short timescale (especially when she managed to rebook my theory again within a week because I forgot to bring my counterpart license to the first scheduled test!) and always on hand to help with any queries I had. My instructor, Vinni, was incredibly patience, always thorough and positively challenging with a calm and relaxed manner. His method of teaching was fantastic, always clear and responsive to my driving even after a 4 hours lesson. He instantly put me at ease and built up my confidence behind the wheel. He was also able to spot the key areas I was struggling with and we were able to focus on these in more detail. Before I took my lessons with him I would have never thought I could pass my test let alone pass with only 1 minor fault. I happily recommend Britannia to anyone thinking of taking lessons and especially Vinni as an instructor. I wish I had gone through them 12 years ago but very happy I have gone through them second time round! Thanks Vinni and Hollie!
I passed my driving test at the first attempt which is in no small part thanks to my driving instructor Tim. He is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and patient. He gives handy tips that are invaluable when tackling tricky maneuvers. I can’t speak highly enough of Tim and he was extremely friendly and put me at ease throughout my learning process. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of learning to drive.
