I just past my practical driving in Tolworth. Thanks to John he is the best in town, he has a good wealth of experience and is very funny, the only problem is his support for Chelsea. Thanks John.
I passed my driving test yesterday and it’s all thanks to my great driving instructor Tony. Tony listened to my previous international driving experience and worked out a learning programme that would best suit my skills. He was very patient, spoke very nicely when you made mistakes and was always trying to keep your confidence up, by focusing on your positives, and by gently saying that these are not so good skills, so we need to improve them. Even though I could drive, I had many bad habits and was very apprehensive that I could pass my test in only having 5hrs driving lessons, but it worked! I would definitely recommend Tony if your are a first time or experienced driver because he has great patience. The customer service at Britannia was also great, as they listened to what I wanted and chose a suitable instructor for me, unlike the AA who just wanted to sell me lessons and when I paid for Automatic car lessons, they hooked me up with a manual car instructor, and then told me it would take 7 days to refund my money back. Go with Britannia, you will not be disappointed!
Matt provides excellent instruction. Prior to Matt I was with a large national school, with time I realised they were overrated. Will definitely recommend prospective students to the Britannia.
Robert was the best instructor I could have asked for! I always felt safe with him, but he also allowed me to improve at the correct level as time went on. Very very grateful and couldn’t have passed my test without him! 10/10
I managed to pass first time with Paul, he is a great driving instructor who made driving lessons enjoyable and fun. He is really easy to get on with and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have fun whilst learning to drive as well as trying to obtain the best result possible. I have recently taken an intense driving course with Britannia – block lessons of 27 hours which included a test and I passed first time and I’m so happy. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to pass their test quickly. I had the best instructor Tony, I couldn’t have done it with out him, he is what every driving instructor should be – the best x

I passed my test first time on 16th Feb after only 3 months of lessons and never haven driven a car before this. My instructor Vinnie was excellent and I would highly recommend him. He was a great teacher with very clear and concise instructions and plenty of helpful tips, but most importantly he really helped to build my confidence and made me believe in myself. I would like to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to Vinnie, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Thank you Britannia!
Hi all Thanks to Britannia Driving School. I passed my Driving Test today. My instructor was Steve. He was very patient with me. I was making lots of errors over and over again yet he kept his cool and didn’t give me any extra pressure. It was my fourth Practical Exam two of which was at Wanstead, East London with another school. My last exam was at Morden. Three of the other practical exams I got trained by other school trainers. Britannia staff has given me the classes which I have asked for and Steve took the classes within the time frame. Thanks a lot to Steve. I wasn’t sure I would pass the exam but I did. Thanks Again Britannia Driving School. All the best for your future ventures.
I passed my test on 16th Feb after about 35-40 hrs of tuition with Robert. He was such a great teacher, calm, technical with maneuvers and giving clear, concise and helpful guidance where appropriate. He was very thorough on the run up to the test and was very good at keeping in touch and letting me know what was going to happen in the test etc. I have had such a great experience with Britannia Driving School thanks to him and would recommend him as a very good driving instructor to any mature teenager :
Had Vinnie as my instructor, he was brilliant, a very good instructor and very friendly I reckon there can’t be much better than him. A no nonsense instructor with all the knowledge to take you all the way to your pass certificate. Thanks very much Vinnie.

I passed my practical test on my first attempt. Although I have previous experience driving an automatic in another country, I had never driven a manual and I was very reluctant to learn. I found myself struggling after my first few lessons and I was ready to give up. However, my instructor Tim encouraged me to continue learning manual and I am grateful to him for that. My lessons were well planned and I found Tim’s explanations easy to follow. I also found the diagrams to be clear and helpful. Thank you Tim!
Just a quick message to say that James took me out for a lesson last night ahead of a work driving assessment I passed today. He was exceptional and friendly, so as well as the excellent help I had from Paul, 2 Britannia driving instructors have been absolutely brilliant in helping me pass both tests. If you could pass on my thanks I would appreciate it.

Passed my test last week thanks to my fantastic instructor Sylvie! About 5 years ago I failed three tests (with a different driving school), which had a really negative impact on my confidence, but from my first lesson with Sylvie I could tell I was being taught by an experienced person who could tell exactly where my driving weaknesses were and provide constructive feedback and tips. Highly recommended!
First Class!!!! I would like to thank Neil for all his work with me. He picked me up after my first instructor at another school had a serious illness. Right from the start I found his laid back style very helpful as it put me at ease with him from day one. I did not pass first time, it was second for me, but I think what helped me the second time was how Neil indentified very quickly the areas where I had gone wrong the first time and I flew through on the second time. Thank you Neil.
Just passed my Practical Test today!! Just like to say a massive THANK YOU to my instructor Tim. I had no driving experience before Tim started teaching me, so I was nervous from the beginning. But right from the start he made me feel confident with myself and gave me self belief. When I made mistakes during my lessons he never raised his voice but instead he just kept calm and explained what I could’ve done better and always gave me constructive advice in being a good and safe driver. While taking his lessons, he will teach you to a high standard of driving and take you to potential test routes. When the test finally came, the test route the examiner used, Tim had already taken me to the same route at least twice which made the exam much easier. At the end of each lesson he always gave me feedback on how the lesson went and if there was anything that needed to be worked on. I would definitely recommend Tim at Britannia to anyone. Again Thank You Tim!!
I had Neil as my driving instructor for nearly a year and it took me two chances to pass my test yet he made me feel like it didn’t matter and that there was always next time. He made me feel I had the confidence to believe in myself more and that made me feel better when I was going into my tests. Thanks Neil 🙂
I just want to say a big thank you to Paul and Britannia for their patience and expertise in helping me pass my driving test. I originally had lessons with a local driving school but was not happy with their driving instructor so decided to try somewhere new. Once I started lessons with Paul I noticed a dramatic improvement in my confidence and ability within only a few lessons. The quality of instruction at Britannia by far surpassed that of my previous driving school and would thoroughly recommend Paul to anyone who not only wants to pass their driving test but wants to go on and be a confident and competent driver…thank you so much Paul for giving the self-belief to pass!
