I had a great experience with my instructor Nick, got me passed in no time. He identified my weaknesses and taught me how to turn them into my strengths. As well as being a excellent teacher he likes a laugh which makes you feel more relaxed and comfortable when driving. I would recommended Nick at Britannia to any student looking to pass their test!!!

I recently did an intensive driving course with Alex. He was fantastic, very reassuring, calm and a positive instructor. Thanks to his help I passed 1st time. Britannia’s intensive courses are the best.

I could not be more impressed and satisfied with the service I received from Britannia Driving School, from the moment I picked up the phone to enquire about an intensive driving course to the fantastic feeling of passing my test. My instructor, Vinni was a star and a very patient man! After a 12 year gap of taking my last driving lessons and unsuccessful tests I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get my license. Plans to emigrate abroad proved the impetus I needed to get behind the wheel again but also gave me a very tight deadline in which to try and get my license. Hollie in the Britannia Office was great at talking me through how the course would work, incredibly efficient at booking my tests within such a short timescale (especially when she managed to rebook my theory again within a week because I forgot to bring my counterpart license to the first scheduled test!) and always on hand to help with any queries I had. My instructor, Vinni, was incredibly patience, always thorough and positively challenging with a calm and relaxed manner. His method of teaching was fantastic, always clear and responsive to my driving even after a 4 hours lesson. He instantly put me at ease and built up my confidence behind the wheel. He was also able to spot the key areas I was struggling with and we were able to focus on these in more detail. Before I took my lessons with him I would have never thought I could pass my test let alone pass with only 1 minor fault. I happily recommend Britannia to anyone thinking of taking lessons and especially Vinni as an instructor. I wish I had gone through them 12 years ago but very happy I have gone through them second time round! Thanks Vinni and Hollie!

I wanted to write a comment/appraisal of the intensive driving course that I took back in July of which I did not write a review. So I thought I would write one now because my driving instructor deserves the credit. “I took the intensive course with Cassandra (one of Britannia’s driving instructors back in July). I cannot sing Cassandra’s praise in a higher pitch. She was a very good coach and a real asset to any driving school. She was funny, relaxed and an all-round good person, she was also a very competent instructor whom made it easy for me to pass my test (second time but I think the examiner was overly critical on the first test). If your in the London area ask for cassandra she is more than worth it, and the school as a whole is very competent and is definitely, in my view, worth the money. Thanks”

I would like to say a very BIG thank you to Britannia for helping me pass my driving test. But I would like to say a bigger thank you to my driving instructor Neil, who enabled me to pass my test first time. He is a very funny, kind and helpful man and I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks once again Neil.

Hey just took my test in Morden, passed with two minors thanks to my instructor John. I couldn’t of had a better instructor, amazing teacher! Plus he’s a Chelsea supporter, lol it could be worse! Thanks John it’s a shame Arsenal are going to finish above u! 🙂

I passed my test on Monday with ease! Prior to that day I had failed 3 times and lacked a lot of confidence. After having a two year gap, I decided too take it up again and do the weeks intensive course with Nick and Britannia Driving School. Within a couple of hours he had built my confidence up straight away and made me feel relaxed and comfortable behind the wheel again, his laid back approach and his sense of humour made my driving experience a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend Nick to anyone. Just wanted to say a big thank you to my driving instructor Jon. Thanks to his perseverance, patience and encouragement I was able to pass first time. He will put you at ease even in the most stressful of situations. I would definitely recommend him to future learners just as he was recommended to me. Thank you once again.

After a series of driving lessons where I live in Nottingham, where the instructor took any confidence I had and stomped on it then spat it out, I decided to take an intensive course in Surrey where my parents live. This had the added bonus of my mum looking after my baby and toddler while I drove! Holly on the desk was brilliant, and managed to sort me out a 5 day intensive course with Paul, with a test on day 6. Paul was bloody brilliant. He quickly assessed my ability and tailor made each lesson to sort out my areas of weakness, whilst bolstering my confidence at every point. Every lesson was hard work, but was also a lot of fun too. Whenever I had a confidence failure he put me back on the right road (pun intended), whether it was during the lesson or between lessons via text. Today I had my test. It was my first attempt and I passed with only 2 minors!! I’m absolutely thrilled, dead proud of myself and grateful to Paul and Britannia (not to mention my mum for babysitting!). I’m glad Nottingham proved to be lousy in the driving instructor front, because I found a real gem in Britannia, and Paul has taught me to be a safe and confident driver. I also now have a fondness for minis! Many thanks Paul 🙂

Big thanks to Nick. Very professional way of teaching, patient, chatty and all over nice guy. Spent 15 hours with him and passed on the first attempt. If you want fast and professional lessons definitely this instructor and this school.

I would just like to say a BIG thank you to my instructor Robert! I passed my test today, first time, with 3 minors and with 9 days of lessons! Robert really helped increase my confidence and ensured I was well prepared for my test. Also thanks to Holly in the office for helping me to find an instructor who was available for my test at such short notice!

Before coming to Britannia, I did 40 hours of driving lessons, and managed to fail my practical test 3 times. I managed to find Britannia and did an intensive driving course with Nick. 15 hours of driving with him and managed to pass a week later with only one minor fault. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful as they managed to book me a test locally within 2 days of booking with them. Because of Nick I have secured my career as a plumber, and now can drive my company van. Nick was patient and understanding. Car was always clean and tidy prior to my lessons. I would recommend the intensive course, especially with Nick and the Britannia team. THANKS NICK!

I really enjoyed the lessons and can definitely recommend the intensive course with Nick. He was very patient and really helped me as I am dyslexic and needed more time to understand the subjects. I passed first time and am over the moon. Thank you very much nick you have saved my career as I needed this licence for my job.

Learning to drive with Britannia Driving School was brilliant; I was able to organise my driving lessons around work and golf. I passed my test within 27 hours and the money I invested on the course was the best investment I have ever made. As soon as I have had a driving licence for four years, I hope to do instructor training with Britannia to peruse a career as a driving instructor with them. Many Thanks to my driving instructor Nick for getting me through the driving test on the first try.

Britannia Driving School are a cool company for driving courses, I would defiantly recommend them. I wasn’t pressurised to have more lessons than I needed while I waited for my driving test. The lessons were reasonable priced, every lesson was enjoyable, and I always felt as if I was making progress, especially with the encouragement I received from my driving instructor Pete. I used their awesome website to practice my Theory and Hazard Test. I breezed through my driving test first time. Magic!!! Cool driving school. Really glad I went with you guys. Cheers.

Well I basically didn’t know 1 thing about driving so I had a 2 hour lesson everyday for about 12 days with Anthony and then had my test straight away. It was my first test and I managed to pass with no critical faults which I think is pretty good for 12 days of learning to drive. Thanks Anthony and Britannia

I Had Courtley as my instructor through what was a very intensive learning curve. He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole experience worth while and i subsequently passed first time through his tuition. Thanks again Court

John is an incredible driving instructor! After having over 50 hours lessons previously with a different driving school, I learnt so much more with him in just 25 hours and passed my test within a week! I was not the easiest person to teach at all, but John was incredibly patient and never got annoyed despite my numerous repeating of basic mistakes. It was a hard week and at times I got frustrated but John never gave up and always managed to encourage me bribing my good driving with coffee and chocolate! Most importantly John doesn’t just teach you to pass but to be a safe and confident driver. Not only is John a great instructor he is also a lovely man, who is very funny and his conversation and stories continuously made me laugh. Thank you so much John, I really appreciate all your help and I’m looking forward to our advanced driving lessons at Christmas!
