I would like to write a review about my driving instructor Mark. Before taking lessons with Mark, I had had over 40 hours of driving lessons with another instructor but despite this I had failed my test 4 times. Because of this I had become a nervous driver and didn’t really believe in myself when it came to driving. Mark’s ability to answer any of my questions in great detail thanks to his thorough knowledge of driving, his structured course method and his honest feedback about my drinving has allowed me to pass my test with only 3 minors and having known Mark for just over a week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Britannia school of having put me in touch with Mark as it is without a doubt that it is thanks to Mark alone that I have been able to pass. Max is great guy and a great driving instructor. I had previously taken lessons with another school in South London. I did not consider myself a bad driver or a slow learner but needed somehow to get over the line (despite my busy work schedule), as I had a new baby and was about to move abroad, where I would need to drive. Max managed to address my weaknesses and explain my faults to me in a way I could clearly understand, digest and absorb quickly. He was patient and suitably analytical, so you were never left thinking: “why can’t I get that right?” He also worked around my busy work schedule and showed real commitment to get me over the line. I cannot recommend CHRIS highly enough. I had never before sat behind a wheel and have rather a giddy personality! Each lesson Chris put me totally at ease. He adapted his tutoring style to suit my personality and I even had fun learning with him. In my late 30’s I could never have imagined actually enjoying learning to drive! He is incredibly calm, patient and knowledgeable. Importantly he can explain instructions in different ways until I understand it. I am absolutely thrilled to now have my driving licence and am planning to investigate Pass Plus with Chris. Book him through Britannia and you won’t regret it!

I needed to pass my driving test quickly. I booked a 21 hour crash course and in 8 days I had my full driving license and only picked up two minors. My instructor was called Lee, he helped me gain confidence and skills so quickly and the car was so easy to drive in. I would highly recommend Britannia Driving School, the crash course option and the driving instructor Lee to anyone who wants to pass first time!

I learnt in 6 days, Alex was my instructor and was fantastic, can’t believe I did it so quick!

Thank you to Max, my driving instructor, who in a firm, but always friendly way ensured i was up to the test standard. My lessons with Max gave me the confidence that i needed to pass the test and taught me how to drive in a safe manner in all traffic conditions, from busy A roads to quiet residential streets.

If you are not only looking for an excellent driving instructor, yet also someone who has a good sense of humor, than I definitely can recommend you Neil! From the beginning on he explained everything very carefully to me and thought me to drive in all kinds of traffic and speed. He creates a calm, relaxing and friendly environment in the car making the driving lessons feel like a chat with a friend. Thank you very much Neil for teaching me to drive and I would strongly recommend him to anyone!

I had an intensive course, and had vinni as my driving instructor. i used to be with RED but changed and can safely say i wouldn’t have passed if it weren’t for vinni. Best instructor i have had!!! Thanks again!!!

Alex was an excellent teacher. His calm attitude proved to be essential for me to gain the confidence necessary to pass the test.

I’d highly recommend Albert to anyone! He’s the third instructor i’ve had and by far the best. After an 8 year break from learning I had 27 hours of intensive lessons with Albert and passed first time. Albert is particularly skilled at positive reinforcement which really helped to build my confidence and improve my driving very quickly. He is also calm, kind and considerate which made spending so much time with him a breeze! Thanks so much Albert!!!

I wanted to write some thanks to Chris who took me on after a really awful learner driving experience, not only did he restore my confidence on the road but taught me to stick with it. His confidence in the passenger seat and positive reassurance really helped me along the way. Thank you!!

Intensive driving course? YES, IT WORKS!!! Having had no driving experience at all and wanting to get my driving license asap before moving away, I was unsure if it’s really possible. I took six hours on six consecutive days with my highly recommendable instructor TIM and could not believe how fast I felt confident to drive on all kind of different roads (especially to use the clutch properly :D). TIM was patient, supportive and chose the right amount of time for repeating and moving on to next tasks. He also showed me the test routes at my test centre and explained to me the tricky roundabouts and junctions. The intensive course with Tim at Britannia was the perfect choice, which led to a first time pass. All in all, if you want to be a confident driver, be optimally prepared for your test and have fun at the same time, TIM is your instructor!! Thank you Tim!!

I have recently used Britannia and their driving instructor. I can honestly say that I have found the whole experience completely stress free (as much as learning to drive can be) I was particularly impressed with my driving instructor Jane, she was friendly, and put me at ease immediately. She gave me clear and concise instructions and developed my driving skills quickly. I would give both Britannia and especially Jane a 10 out of 10. And I passed 1st time so there’s no greater proof than that. Thank you Jane, I couldn’t have done it without you.

Passed my test last week Friday after doing an intensive course with my great instructor Nick. He gave me great confidence as he has a 100% pass rate with intensive courses. He knew the area that I took my test in really well and the route I was given was one Nick had shown me in preparation for my test. I would definitely recommend Britannia as they found me a test with ease and the ladies at the office where great, as was Nick who left no stone unturned and was always patient and the lessons where all well planned considering we did not have time on our side. When I started this 39 hour course I had never been behind a steering wheel and a week and a half later I have my full licence. Thanks Nick and Britannia, definitely recommend you to all my friends.

Passed my driving test 1st time after only 27 hours of lessons. Very happy with my instructor Paul, who did an excellent job in teaching me to drive in such a short space of time. He was always willing to answer any questions I had and explain things in an easy to understand manner. Many thanks.

I have just completed a 39 hour, 1 week intensive course with Graham from Britannia. I passed first time and had an enjoyable time learning. It was a very smooth process and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Britannia and the intensive course for anyone wanting to learn.

It was extremely important for me to pass my driving test quickly, so it was important that I pick the right driving school. I passed my driving test in just 6 days with Britannia’s 39 hour intensive driving course. Britannia even arranged a quick test date to culminate with the end of the intensive driving course. Having witnessed what a fantastic service Britannia’s office staff and instructor John can provide, I can say with confidence that they are most definitely addicted to getting pupils through the driving test fast.
