I passed my driving test thanks to John T, my instructor at Britannia. Although I have previous experience as a driver, I had to get rid of a few nasty habits, such as not looking in the mirrors and not planning ahead well enough, which led me to take last-second decisions in traffic and incur safety faults. In this regard, John T was spotless: he was always very attentive to every detail, and most importantly, explaining why it was dangerous to do what I was doing. For example, while reversing, I was trusting the mirrors too much and not looking towards the rear window. He told me: “Mind the blind spots. What if there were small children running towards the back of the car? You wouldn’t’ve seen them, would you?” And because I’ve got a small daughter myself, that made me think twice. 🙂

In fact, I could really say that John T has got the ‘eye of the tiger’ — whatever mistake I made while driving, even a barely noticeable one, he would ALWAYS pick it up! And that’s exactly what every learner should look for in a driving instructor: the stricter, the better. (But don’t worry, he’s very friendly too! LOL)

Mind you, he also has experience as an examiner, so he surely knows what he’s talking about! 🙂

Anyway, John T does his job as he should. Simple as that. Not only does he prepare you for the driving test, he prepares you for the real life as a driver. And I’m not ashamed of saying what I’m going to say: it’s professionals like him that keep my faith in humanity.

This said, if you want to pass your test AND be a confident driver, look no further: John T is the solution!

Jon F is the best driving instructor you could wish for.

Before I met him, I had a bad experience with the previous driving instructor. Lucky enough, Jon reassure me and helped me learn everything that i needed to pass.

Jon is a wonderful person and teacher, whom i highly recommend. He is funny, reliable, caring and sometimes very strict, but overall he is a true gentlemen. So thank you again Jon.

Today I passed on my first attempt , thanks to Elliot and his scientific skills. I only had 4 lessons!!! Unbelievable but true!!! Thanks to Britannia and Elliot!

John O was a very competent and sincere driving instructor. He had expert knowledge of his craft. He was flexible in getting appointment times, which I appreciated. I passed first time with 4 minors.

My Driving instructor was Nick, I would definitely recommend him! He is patient, easy going and very competent. Helped me pass first time and ensures that you are not overly stressed whilst learning. He will adjust the teaching speed depending on how easy or difficult it is for you and his teaching method is great enough to help anyone pass first time!

Elliot is a fantastic instructor. Careful, considerate and calm. I found the lessons were informative and full of useful information to help me learn to drive but more importantly drive safe after my test. Highly recommended.

Just passed my test with only 3 faults, I would recommend my instructor John O for everyone who wants to learn exactly what you need to learn, very methodical and easy going!

My instructor was Anthony!! He was amazing not only did he have a funky little blue mini! But Anthony was calm, easy going,he was flexible with his time slots working around his students and what their needs and hours were and he also had some good banter that helped the hard annoying double roundabout we were just about to come up to better!

Anthony took me to Isleworth test centre and this was the one he knew best!!! He knew all the routes, the hard turnings ,the roundabouts and sneaky points where they catch you out!! This helped me to pass FIRST TIME!!!

Yay thanks Anthony for all you help!! It was 17 hours of some good driving on my behalf if I don’t say myself!! My new little run around is thanks you (though maybe that little scratch from a big red bus?! Couldn’t see it I suppose! Woops!! Ha!!)

Passed my test this week and would like to thank my instructor Nick for getting me through.
I really suffered with nerves when it came to me taking my test and that’s what held me back on the day.
But Nick kept me going and i managed to pass my test.
I would recommend Nick to anyone as he is a great people person,has patience,a great sense of humour but can also be serious when he needs to be.
His knowledge of what the area really helped me for my test also.
His car was really easy to drive and if I stalled all I had to do was press the clutch down and the car would restart which is much easier than most cars.
Again a big thank you to Nick for getting me through

I would like to say a big thank you to Albert – thanks to him I passed my test first time. He is understanding, encouraging and made learning to drive enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him.

I passed my test last week thanks to my great instructor nick who helped me no end.
i had learned how to drive over the years with my friends and family and thought i was a competent driver.
Nick took me up on test and he said i needed to check my mirrors a lot more than i was doing at the time.
I failed my first test because of that exact reason.
Nick had identified the problem for me but with nerves on the day i was not checking my mirrors as needed.
so i took a few lessons with Nick and we worked on the mirrors and when i should check them and i passed my test with ease on the second attempt with 4 minnors because of nick and his patience and persistence with all aspects of my drive.
also his car was a really clean and professional and easy to drive and i wouldnt expect a learner car to be an audi but was a joy to drive.

I passed my driving test for the first time today. I couldn’t do it without the help of the amazing instructor Tim. I was recommended by my best friend who is hard of hearing and I’m hard of hearing too. In the lessons, Tim made me feel calm and provides constructive feeback. With his help, I eased in the transition from a nervous beginner to a confident driver. He made sure that I’m absolutely prepared before the test. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Keith was an excellent instructor, really supportive and very flexible with lessons.
I would highly recommend Britannia as an agency to work with towards getting your licence.

I passed my driving test today, thanks a lot to my instructor Tim in the Hounslow/Isleworth area. He is fantastic he helped me to transform from a nervous beginner. Tim was very supportive, calming and really helpful when I found things tricky. He had a great mix of humour, conversation and teaching and also very complementary when I was doing well.I would recommend him for everyone!

I am very delighted to say that I have passed my practical driving test at the first attempt today! Thank you so much Elliot (my instructor) and Britannia! Elliot is very passionate about his job, he is extremely professional and helpful. I have really appreciated his lessons. He has also a scientific approach to learning which was very interesting and efficient. I would definitely recommend Elliot as a driving instructor. Thanks again !

I passed my practical test just 2 days ago on the 25th March 2014! Many thanks to Nick my driving instructor at Britannia. Nick was very patient with me having previously attempted the test myself 6 months ago. I could drive already, but Nick showed me important aspects of my driving observations, anticipation, roundabouts which I don’t think I had received proper tuition on before. Most importantly, Nick told me to drive the way I would normally drive with my wife or with him during my lessons. He taught me to relax and apply all that he had taught me. He supported me all the way. I owe my success (on my 2nd attempt) to Nick, my wife and most importantly the Holy Spirit who guided my hands, feet and eyes.

Thank you Nick and thanks to Britannia for coming to the rescue!

I just passed my test today, thank you so much to my excellent instructor Mary!!

She has been extremely reliable, patient and helpful and really helped me to tackle my nerves by focusing on anything I felt unsure of. Not only did Mary help prepare me for my test but I now finally have the confidence that I thought I could never have in myself and my driving beyond the test. Every lesson was productive and I could not have done it without her!

I would highly recommend anyone to take their lessons with Mary!

I just passed my driving test! I am very happy that I chose Britannia. Very helpful and friendly customer service. Always ready to help. I want to say a massive THANK YOU to my instructor Jon F. He is brilliant, he made me feel really relaxed and gave lots of confidence. He was very patient and explained things in detail until I fully understood them. Most of the instructors only teach how to drive, Jon is not like them. Every lesson he gives 100%, he has very high standard that will not only help you pass the test but became a great driver in real life. Really enjoyed our lessons in Windsor, Mercedes-Benz World! It was great experience! With my confidence and knowledge what I got now I am sure I will be a good driver but it is all thanks to my great instructor Jon!
