Having just passed the driving test with 5 minor faults, I am extremely thankful to John O who was my instructor and provided me with great training.
My daughter had her driving lessons with Harry, a driving instructor with Britannia.
She felt that she was in safe hands from the word go. Harry’s style of teaching is so relaxed and encouraging that we have now asked that he teach our son too.
If you are looking for a driving instructor that is good, patient and supportive, than Harry is your man. Would recommend him without a doubt.
Glad to say I passed my driving test today and I’m over the moon! The test went really well and it’s all thanks to my brilliant driving instructor – Darren. Having Darren as a driving instructor made my experience of driving a lot easier and less nerve racking. He’s patient, very good at explaining things and has a great sense of humour. Thanks Darren!!!
I wanted to say that having passed my test last week I could not recommend my instructor Robert Stamp enough, he was polite and friendly and made me feel totally at ease with the car, as well as giving me freedom with decision on the road and not micromanaging my driving!
I was brilliantly taught by James from scratch to pass first time around, with fewer than three minors in under 20 lessons. He is clear, concise and calm with his instructions and explanations, even if you’ve stalled for the second time at a busy crossroads in the way of oncoming traffic. His knowledge of the art of driving tests and examiners is second to none. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. James, thank you very much for your efforts.

I recently passed my driving test having done a 15 hour intensive course with Elliot. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the patience, guidance and help that he provided. In the course of the week he taught me invaluable tips and practice on how to become a competent and safe driver; especially his use of NLP (neuro linguistic programming), a technique that I had previously never heard of before. Using NLP, I saw a marked change in my driving, and driving became far more intuitive and safer – I cannot fault Elliot’s approach to teaching.
Having tried many different driving teachers in the past, I can honestly say that Elliot is one of the best out there. I recommend him entirely whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced driver!
Before I joined Britannia I already had lessons with another instructor. James helped me to build on my existing knowledge and really helped me perfect my skills!! I would definitely recommend Britannia to others
Eliot has been a brilliant driving instructor, his attention to detail and his ability to change my old driving habits was exceptional; I’ve been driving abroad for several years before my test needless to say how many bad habits I had. Jon is a brilliant driving instructor and a natural teacher. His combination of a regimented organisation, a great sense of humour and natural talent for explaining things makes him a brilliant instructor for students of any level. His vast experience in driving sets him apart from other instructors and he has helped me to become both confident and assured in my own driving.

Being an older lady I was really nervous about taking driving lessons.

I’ve just passed me driving test with the help of my instructor Robert! I’m very pleased with the progress we did on the road, he was very very patient with me as I did not even know how to move the car when I started, he also chose me as his pupil to become a grade 6 instructor which was like the practical test with an examiner in the back of the car (which he past with a grade A :))this was very helpful as it was very similar to the practical and I managed to pass the first time! So many thanks to Britannia and Robert for your help and service! Amazing company and instructor!

My daughter’s first instructor with another driving school in Luton, was an unmitigated disaster. We stuck with them for ages before changing, but it was money down the drain.
Then we tried Britannia Driving School and were allocated Anthony as my daughters driving instructor. I Sat in on the first few lessons and discovered that Anthony had a way of making my daughter feel that her mistakes were minor glitches and overall, she was making progress. This made all the difference to her confidence. She passed her test with flying colours thanks to Anthony.
