I recently passed my automatic driving test with the help of Tony in SW London. He is an extremely down to earth guy who is an excellent and encouraging instructor. Going beyond helping me pass the test, he also gave me many useful tips about how to deal with real life driving situations that might not be encountered during the test situation. I would highly recommend him to other students.

I would like to thank Britannia and in particular my instructor Barrie. I have had previous instructors in the past who’s methods and instruction had been confusing and inconsistent, whereas Barrie made my driving experience pleasant with a friendly greeting, clear and confident instruction and a wealth of experience which has been an asset to me passing my test. As an instructor I would strongly recommend Barrie at Britannia to anyone looking to take lessons and pass their test in an Automatic Car. Once again, many thanks and please pass on my thanks and gratitude to Barrie.

Just passed today with only 2 minors!!! I would strongly recommend SYLVIE as an automatic driving instructor, she has excellent teaching skills, she is simple and easy to understand when teaching. Her great sense of humor and friendly/joking personality makes driving lessons fun and enjoyable. I would always look forward to driving lessons, she is always happy and bubbly, very easy to get on with. I could ask her any silly question about driving and she would answer it! Sylvie you have made me a skillful and safe driver full of confidence. Thank-you so so much Sylvie 🙂

From my first Automatic driving lesson with Barry, I felt relaxed and confident. My instructor provided me with clear, concise instruction which helped make me a safe, competent and confident driver. He explained exactly what would be required during my driving test, so there were no surprises when I came to do my test. Barry gave me a lesson before the test, accompanied me to the test centre and waited for me as I took the test and drove me home afterwards. I found that incredibly reassuring. I have no hesitation in recommending Britannia Driving School for its professionalism, efficiency and friendliness.

My instructor Barrie rocks!!!!!!!! I just passed my driving test at South Norwood, still can’t believe it…I decided to try out Britannia and it was worth it. In my opinion he is extremely good, and patient and takes the time to explain everything, I mean EVERYTHING that will make you a better driver and of course pass your test. I’m really glad. Thank you for the very well organised course you gave to me. My driving instructor TONY was excellent. He was a good teacher, who took his role seriously. He was gentle, patient and firm. He encouraged me when I needed a bit of encouragement. The most important thing was that I passed my driving test on the first time. I will recommend Tony and Britannia to anyone who is serious about passing their test.

I passed my test for the first time – thanks to Sylvie! highly recommend Sylvie as a driving instructor..she makes you feel so comfortable, teaching techniques are great..motivates you and gives you a lot of confidence!very bubbly and friendly love her personality! which is why i was at ease and learnt quickly and passed! 😀 thanks Sylvie!

I passed my driving test first time with Britannia Driving School and I have the wonderful Sylvie to thank for it. After struggling with instructors from other driving schools… I was apprehensive the first day Sylvie picked me up in South West London…but how wrong could I have been! She was patient, detailed, communicative, she made me feel at ease. She didn’t say that I needed 50 lessons just to make more money out of me. She restored my confidence in driving and because of her great and caring personality as well as her fantastic way of teaching, I was more then confident when I met the examiner on the day of my test, even though it was pouring with rain.!! I couldn’t recommend the Britannia Driving School enough! and if you are based in SW London… ask for Sylvie as your instructor. Seriously…? 10 out of 10!!

Everything from the booking of my intensive driving course to the driving tuition I received from Britannia was absolutely first class. My driving instructor Ian was fantastic, he is an excellent instructor and a credit to Britannia, not only did he teach me everything I needed to know in order to pass the test, he made sure he prepared me for driving in different situations, not just driving around the test centre routes. We drove long distance, major roundabouts, busy high streets and this has made me a confident driver and I cannot thank him enough for all his help, patience and for making me enjoy driving. I passed my driving test first time!

Passed my test first time with Daniel yesterday. He was a great instructor, always patient, a big thanks to him.

Passed my test last week thanks to my fantastic instructor Sylvie! About 5 years ago I failed three tests (with a different driving school), which had a really negative impact on my confidence, but from my first lesson with Sylvie I could tell I was being taught by an experienced person who could tell exactly where my driving weaknesses were and provide constructive feedback and tips. Highly recommended!

Britannia as a driving school is very professional in its approach. I am an Indian and did not know about the process but they guided me through it and even helped to book the practical test. My tutor was Sylvie who was excellent. She allowed me to drive in a variety of situations and prepared me well for the test. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone interested in an instructor.

I decided to take automatic driving lessons in New Malden, Surrey and was placed with Dave. I am pleased to say I passed 1st time and felt confident heading into the test due to his patience & attention to detail. Thank you very much for helping me to find a wonderful instructor and her name is Sylvia. With pleasure I would recommend her to anybody who wants to learn and enjoy learning to drive safety. First of all she attracted me by her charming personality: she is very positive, open minded and welcoming. Secondly she is very professional (she knows the requirements needed for the driving test which is very important and helping to achieve the highest standard of needs not only for passing the driving test but also for safe driving in the future). She is punctual and very very supportive. Thanks again and I found a new lovely friend Sylvia.

I took my first lesson in 1985 and finally passed my test last week! My instructor Ian managed to relax me and banish any nerves, while always being clear and direct and realistic about what needed to be done to succeed. He was also brilliant and supportive on the day of the test itself, helping me to anticipate fully what was required of me and keeping me calm. I would heartily recommend him.

After having Jon as my instructor for 3 weeks or so, I have managed to pass my test first time! Jon was so kind and patient as well as managing to keep me entertained during my lessons. Jon has taught me to drive with confidence and without him, I would be no where near passing now. Thank you so much.
