Driving Ban: Teaching a Learner

Provisional licence holders must be supervised by someone over 21 years old by law – however, some insurers require you to be at least 25

Being underage could result in invalidating their car insurance and lead to a driving ban, unlimited fine and eight points on their provisional licence.

You also need to have held a full UK driving licence for at least three years – or from countries within the EU or EEA.
